CDNetworks, the global content delivery network (CDN) and edge service provider is pleased to announce the expansion of its strategic collaboration with Workonline Communications, a leading pan-African IP transit provider.
This collaboration enhances CDNetworks’ ability to deliver high-performance, low-latency content from Asia-Pacific content providers—including gaming, video, and app platforms—to users across Africa. With growing demand for APAC-origin content across the continent, the partnership enables faster, more seamless digital experiences for African end users.
Following initial deployments in South Africa in 2023 and Kenya in early 2024, CDNetworks is working closely with Workonline to further extend its reach into key West African markets, including Ghana and Nigeria. The partnership supports CDNetworks’ ongoing global infrastructure expansion and its commitment to serving emerging markets with reliable, high-speed content delivery.
“CDNetworks is proud to deepen our relationship with Workonline as we continue to scale our presence in Africa,” said Antony Li, Global Head of Infrastructure at CDNetworks. “Together, we’re enabling millions of users to enjoy high-quality content experiences powered by world-class infrastructure.”
This partnership builds on Workonline’s extensive network footprint, which includes Points of Presence (PoPs) in Cape Town, Johannesburg, Nairobi, and Singapore, as well as interconnection with major subsea cable systems.
